THE RIGHT TO RIDE

Stand Off On The Blue Dot

After sitting around a camp fire talking with some fellow horsewomen about the issue we are facing with the new 2008 NRC/DNR ruling on the PRC.
After I had listen to them tell stories about there rides in the PRC I had this vision and I'm sure If not all of you or most of you after reading it will also have a visual.

A horsewomen while camping in the PRC over the Holiday weekend found her self in a stand off on the blue dot trail.
While riding on the marked blue dot she glanced up only to find a bull elk standing on the trail.
Whoaaaaaa she pulled back on her horse...she stopped for fear she would be once again Falsely Accused of chasing elk and so she sit there looking at the bull..having a stand off in the middle of the blue dot.
She knew that if she got off the marked trail...a DNR Officer could pop out from behind a tree and ticket her for getting off a marked trail.
She knew yelling at the bull could break the sound barrier of the so called "Big Wild" Quiet area
She sit there,Confused on what she should do, in fear that if she mis-stepped she would be targeted once again because she was on the back of a horse.
and just when she thought it could not get worse...her horse lifted its tail and right there in front of God and the Turkeys her horse passed gas and the sound of Hot fresh horse biscuits hit the blue dot trail,Covering the biggest tom turkey track she had ever seen.
As she sit there pondering
it occurred to her what her horse had just covered-up with fresh hot horse biscuits.
She glanced up to find that the bull elk had stepped off the blue dot trail as she reached down patted her horse on the neck , smiled and yelled
RIDE ON !!
